River House Lodge

Nestled within the cottonwoods of Elk Creek sits the River House Lodge. As a centerpiece of Marabout Ranch the lodge is a resort destination that captures the essence of the Rocky Mountain lifestyle. Winner of the PCBC Gold Nugget Grand Award for the Best Public Private Recreation Use Facility, Marabou is a 1,700 acre Ranch Resort Community placed within a conservation easement that preserves over 80% of the property as a working ranch. The design was based on a conscious process of conservation and preservation of the Western ideology, aesthetic, and lifestyle of the local ranching community. This project was designed by Brian Weber as project architect and landscape architect for the 4240 design team.
